Description
This project is one of my first VR games, developed during my Virtual Reality studies at EFREI, at a time when I was still discovering the medium and its design constraints. It is a serious game set in a virtual kitchen, designed to introduce players to a classic French gastronomy recipe: boeuf bourguignon.
The experience guides the player step by step through the cooking process. In VR, the player must explore the kitchen, identify and collect the correct ingredients, cut them on a chopping board, and place them into a pot in the right order before starting the cooking process.
If the recipe is incorrect, the dish fails and the player must try again, encouraging attention, logic, and experimentation.
Developed by a team of two over several weeks, this project was a key learning experience for me. It allowed me to build strong foundations in VR interaction design, gameplay logic, and programming, while also understanding how to guide players clearly and intuitively in an immersive environment. This project marked an important step in my journey as a VR developer and game designer.
